Offer Eligibility: Registration is required to qualify for the bonus. If you are not yet a SkyMiles member, enroll now or call 1-800-323-2323. Offer available to U.S. residents only. This offer is non-transferable and is only eligible for the SkyMiles member receiving this communication directly from Delta Air Lines.
Points Transfer Details: Membership Rewards program enrollees will receive one mile for every eligible Membership Rewards point transferred. Allow up to 1 to 2 business days for Membership Rewards points to be transferred to your Delta SkyMiles account. Transferred points cannot be transferred back to the Cardmember's Membership Rewards program account. Cardmembers must transfer a minimum of 1,000 Membership Rewards points per transfer.
Bonus Award Information: This offer cannot be combined with other Delta or SkyTeam® offers. Eligible members will receive an electronic certificate valued at 15,000 points for every 50,000 points transferred from the date registered through December 31, 2011. Bonus certificates are only awarded for transactions made in 50,000-point increments. Transfers of less than 50,000-point increments will not qualify for a bonus. The electronic certificate will be sent to qualified members by email 6-8 weeks following registration in promotion. Customers must have a valid email address on the SkyMiles account to receive award. May not be combined with any other Membership Rewards offers between November 1 and December 31, 2011. Certificates will not be issued to ineligible members regardless of account activity, for example, on newly created SkyMiles accounts (or duplicate accounts) that are subsequently merged with an existing SkyMiles account.
Award Travel: Taxes and fees for Award Travel are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked. Award Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Purchased and bonus miles do not count toward Medallion® qualification or Million Miler™ status.
Bonus Certificate: Certificates must be redeemed at www.membershiprewards.com/BonusPointsCert by midnight Eastern Standard Time on the expiration date printed on the face of the certificate. You must be enrolled in the Membership Rewards program at the time of certificate redemption and will need to provide select information about your Membership Rewards enrolled American Express® Card in order to redeem. Bonus points will be credited to your Membership Rewards account within 24 hours of redemption. Once redeemed, the certificate is no longer valid. Lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed certificates cannot be replaced. Only original certificates will be honored. Certificates are void if reproduced, altered, counterfeited, or obtained or used improperly. The certificate is not transferable and any attempt to transfer the certificate including sale, change or auction is a violation of the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program.
Taxes and Fees: For each conversion of points into the Frequent Flyer program of a U.S. airline, a fee of $0.0006 per point, with a maximum fee of $99, will be charged to your Card account. American Express charges this fee to offset the federal excise tax on such conversions. The fee may be more or less than the actual amount of the excise tax American Express pays on any individual conversion. American Express may offer you the option to redeem points to pay this fee.
